Sean's  professional career began in Pathology, then Clinical Audit. It was during his time in audit that he realised that without good quality and timely clinical information, clinical audit was impossible.
His career moved into health informatics and in 2002 Sean launched Clinical Matrix Limited, a network of Healthcare Professionals with particular skills in facilitation, change-management, and Internet Technology. He is author of  The NHS IT Project. The Biggest Computer Programme in the World Ever! (2005, Radcliffe Publishing).
