Career and Development Framework for Learning Disability Nursing in Scotland published

The Career and Development Framework for Learning Disability Nursing in Scotland published this March has been developed as an outcome of Strengthening the Commitment: the report of the UK review of learning disabilities nursing.

Modernising Nursing Careers introduced the notion of structured career planning for nurses to enable them to develop appropriate knowledge and skills to be able to progress to more senior or alternative positions if they wished, and to develop within their existing role to continue to meet the evolving needs of people with learning disabilities.
