Mental Welfare Commission - New Report, 'Left Behind'

The Mental Welfare Commission is an independent organisation working to safeguard the rights and welfare of everyone with a mental illness, learning disability or other mental disorder. 

The 'Left Behind' report reflects findings from a programme of visits that took place across Scotland between April and July 2011 to individuals with severe and enduring mental illness in rehabilitation and continuing care wards based in psychiatric hospitals across Scotland.
