An RCN training and education framework for fertility nursing

The RCN has launched a new education and training framework for fertility nurses working in this specialised and dynamic field of practice. Fertility nurses are at the forefront of patient care with many taking on increased clinical responsibility and this framework provides guidance on career and training development and shape current and future roles. The publication will be an invaluable tool for nurses, midwives, managers, commissioners and academics working in fertility services. It was developed following extensive enquiry from nurses working in this area of practice and included experts in fertility nursing, midwifery, education, research and sonography all contributed to the publication.
