New Billchecker app

The new BiliChecker app helps health care practitioners to choose the safest management option for a baby with neonatal jaundice, in less than one minute. The user simply inputs the baby's time and date of birth, the time and date of the bilirubin test, and the bilirubin level. BiliChecker then calculates the safest management option based on the NICE guideline on 'Neonatal jaundice'. The app also includes a direct link to the source guideline and to gestational age-specific nomograms.

BiliChecker has been developed by the RCOG in collaboration with the NCC-WCH. The app will be available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch from Friday 15 February 2013, priced at 69p.
