A story that needs to be told

The RCN Neurosciences Forum is pleased to announce its support for the extraordinary film In your voice, in your heart, about rock star Edwyn Collins (Orange Juice) and his journey after a severe stroke with profound dysphasia. The captivating film gives a deeply moving account of the impact of stroke and the courage needed to overcome disabling consequences.

Work has been undertaken in collaboration with many other groups, including the College of Speech and Language Therapy and the Stroke Association. The film’s message aligns with the forum’s work on highlighting the consequence of stroke, the role of the nurse and how to work effectively with other services, individuals and agencies to ensure the best outcome for those who suffer a stroke.
