Season's greetings from your adviser
Published: 14 December 2012
RCN Long Term Conditions Adviser Amanda Cheesley wants to know what you’re getting up to this year...
A round of thanks
I would very much like to express my appreciation to the whole committee for their enthusiasm, support and commitment. As your adviser I would not be able to do my job as well without the expertise of the nurses working in this forum and on its committee.
I would especially like to thank Cath Waterhouse for her input to the committee over many years and more recently for her work as forum chair. She has been terrific and without her the series of stroke workshops held over the last two years, supported by a generous donation, would not have been the success they were.
Any thoughts?
We are looking for input from you all for ideas about events and also I would urge you to contribute to the newsletter. Tell us what you are doing, why you are doing it and how it is benefiting patients.
And hello
I would like also to take this opportunity to formally welcome Dr Sue Woodward as the new forum chair. Sue will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the forum and I know you will be delighted that Cath has such a worthy successor.
If you have any comments, thoughts or ideas, please feel free to contact me on telephone: 07778 521 517 or email: Amanda.Cheesley@rcn.org.uk.
