To continue to support the case for regulation of the Advanced Nurse Practitioner title.

To work with higher education institutions to develop appropriate programmes of study for existing and prospective Advanced Nurse Practitioners.

To support our colleagues in the Association of Advanced Nursing Practice Educators (AANPE) in maintaining a database of Advanced Nurse Practitioner programmes at under-graduate and post-graduate level.

To work collaboratively on a project pertinent to the advanced practice and prescribing role; the development of a patient-focused medicines management guide.
