Jackie Riddett

Jackie works in a Nursing Home in Leicestershire as the Registered Manager RGN and has held this role for the past 22 years. In this time she has gained her BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies and MSc Health Studies to advanced her practice and knowledge of Older People's care.

She has a great passion towards promoting the role of the nurse and enabling each person to bring their own individual positive impression to the patients and residents, and their families. She also believes that Dignity in Care is the key element to any positive experience that individuals have when in contact with Healthcare and Nursing services.

Jackie is involved locally in her county and region for promoting best practice and policy shaping when it comes to Older People's care, and currently sits on regional committees for this. She is also very interested in the impact that commissioning will have on what services can be offered and the changes that will come from this.
