Report and action plan 2008-2009

Professional seminars,meetings and study days held

Committee meetings continue once a month and as well as the general work of the committee. Group clinical supervision is practised giving the committee members chance to discuss any issues, problems or successes. A successful study day was run late last year and we are currently planning our next event.

Regional and national links

The group continues to be proud of their commitment to conference and this year have at least two speakers attending in Newcastle.

International links

Contact has been made with our twinning city Calgary and the twin cities chapter in America. As yet are waiting to hear from them but are looking forward to the opportunities that this will give us to share good practice and orthopaedic and trauma knowledge.
