NEBPOT aims to:
- Support an open flow of information and communication within the field of orthopaedics and trauma
- Identifying evidence relating to clinical issues
- Encouraging and facilitating selection of relevant evidence
- Supporting a systematic approach to the review of the identified evidence
- Providing guidance on the appropriate application of reviewed evidence to practice
Aims
Within the field of orthopaedic/trauma practice the group aims to:
- Promote the evaluation and use of evidence
- Support relevant activities relating to gathering and reviewing evidence
- Support networks related to evidence and research developments
- Facilitate the dissemination of findings
- Provide a forum for discussion of key issues related to orthopaedic/trauma practice
Objectives
- Maintain database and network:
- to allow an open forum for raising questions about practice
- to share and debate the outcomes of investigation
- to disseminate knowledge about orthopaedic/trauma nursing practice
- Support collaborative work in orthopaedic/trauma practice
