Dear All

Thank you to all of those who supported me in trying for British Pain Society Council this year. Sorry to have to report but I didn’t get in but was close; lost by three votes. A psychologist and an anaesthetist were elected. It has been suggested, given it was so close, to have another go next year and have been pondering this option and hence my delay in updating you all. I have given it a lot of consideration and will be putting myself forward again next year, unless another nurse from the group wants to do it and I will support him or her and back down. I would be grateful for further support next year. Have a great summer, and once again, thank you.
