PgCert/Diploma/MSc in Pain Science and Practice
The aim of the PGCert/Diploma/MSc in Pain Science and Practice at Queens University Belfast is to promote a multidimensional understanding of pain management. The PgCert takes place over 1-2 years depending on module choice by the student and the Diploma/MSc over 2-3 years part-time.
The course is aimed at professionals with an interest in Pain Management. The eight modules include Physiology and Pharmacology, Applied Research Methods, Acute Pain, Pain in Children and Elderly, Chronic Pain, Pain Psychology, Cancer Pain and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
New for 2010 intake is sponsorship for six students. Napp are sponsoring three students and Mundipharma are sponsoring three students for the MSc course.
