RCN Congress 2012

This year at Congress the forum committee (Flick, Fiona, Lucy, Mary, Helen and Olwen) presented at a fringe event on Thursday 17 May. The Pain and Palliative Care Forum was relaunched in late 2011, led by a small team of experienced and enthusiastic nurses representing both specialities. Those attending this event were introduced to the new committee and updated on recent innovations in acute and chronic pain management, palliative care and end of life care, with a focus on advance care planning. Nurses play a fundamental role in improving the quality of patient’s lives so this event explored how the forum can best support you to do this. A lively Q&A session followed. A big thank you to all those who attended.

RCN Congress 2013

The next RCN Congress will be taking place 21 - 25 April 2013 at the Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre (ACC). We hope to see you there! More information will be released nearer the time.
