My child is in pain

Nurses have developed a website on behalf of the charity WellChild to help parents manage their child's pain after surgery.  This website has been developed by researchers working with parents of children who have had day case surgery, and with health care professionals who are experts in pain management. The information is especially useful for parents whose children are aged 2-6 years old.

The Faculty of Pain Medicine at the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCofA) supports a multi-disciplinary approach to pain management informed by evidence-based practice and research. The RCofA also has a wide range of useful guidelines, clinical standards and information for patients and relatives.
