British Anaesthetic and Recovery Nurses Association's (BARNA)

The Perioperative Forum was invited to join a delegation of key stakeholders across Scotland, in support of the British Anaesthetic and Recovery Nurses Association's (BARNA) bid to host the International Association of Nurse Anaesthetists' (IFNA) World Congress in Glasgow in 2016.  Competing against Liverpool and Bergen, Norway, it was announced at this year's IFNA World Congress in Ljubljana, Slovenia that Glasgow had won the bid, and will therefore host the IFNA World Congress for over 1000 delegates in May 2016.
