Successful bid to host international congress

The Perioperative Forum joined a delegation of key Scottish stakeholders supporting the British Anaesthetic and Recovery Nurses Association's bid to host the International Federation of Nurse Anaesthetists' (IFNA) World Congress in Glasgow in May 2016.
Glasgow was competing against Liverpool and Bergen in Norway. In May at the 10th IFNA World Congress in Ljubljana, Slovenia, it was announced that Glasgow had won the bid. More than 1,000 delegates are expected to attend.
