Conference 2013: poster guidelines

Never presented a poster before? Then this is the venue for you; support will be offered in helping to prepare your abstract and best showcase your work. This is a wonderfully supportive environment in which to present a poster for the first time.
Topics
Any aspect of your work that is relevant to the care of patients with rheumatological conditions or the development of rheumatology nursing. This might include:
- an audit
- a literature review
- service development
- a case study – anonymised
- an example of best practice
- an education package.
Judging criteria
- presentation
- content – demonstration of understanding and knowledge
- relevance to rheumatology/rheumatology nursing
- originality
- identification of sources.
Prizes will be offered for the best posters. If you wish further information, please contact the forum chair Vicky Chamberlain at v.chamberlain@nhs.net.
What to do
Visit the conference webpages and read the poster guidelines carefully.
All submissions must be submitted to Vicky at rheumatology@rcn.org.uk as a word document and include professional title, name, job title, workplace, email address, title of poster, summary of poster, learning outcomes, abstract (no more than 300 words), reading references, professional biography (100 words).
Deadline for poster abstract submission
Monday 7 January.
