Congress 2012

The newly launched Pain and Palliative Care Forum held a successful event at Congress for members that introduced the Forum committee and provided an overview of recent advances in pain, palliative care and end of life care.

Although there was standing room only, the audience was really engaged in helping the committee to identify the needs of members and agree some short to medium term goals.

The forum plans to produce further newsletters and is providing an event on pain for HCAs in October 2012. Members can expect to receive a survey in the near future and will be advised when the revised webpage is launched.

RCN Congress 2013 will be held in Liverpool from 21-25 April.
