This academic resource for health professionals is a series of decisions that builds through a number of stages as resources increase. The result is presented as an 'optimum pathway'.
The Decision Framework for STEMI is designed to help map the current situation and model of care provided in a Health Care System, review where improvements need to be made, and determine the necessary changes required to move to an improved model of care. The resulting Decision Framework offers a staged progression through four different scenarios based on the relative availability of resources and infrastructure.
