Adolescent Health Forum

The Adolescent Health Forum includes professionals from a wide range of areas including education, acute services and primary care.

It promotes discussion and awareness of the needs of young people and those who care for them, and the development of appropriate services.

The forum supports a growing network of regional groups who seek to influence services and facilities for young people locally.

Forum objectives:
  • Promote evidence-based practice in adolescent health care delivery.
  • Co-ordinate regional nursing networks which encourage a multi-disciplinary approach to adolescent health care.
  • Influence policy and practice development at a local, regional and national level.
  • Contribute to the education and training of all professionals in meeting the health needs of young people.
  • Share and promote best practice locally and nationally.
Why should you join?
  • Forum membership can give you the support and knowledge you need to develop your nursing career - and make a positive difference to the teenagers you care for.
  • All RCN forums have voting rights at Congress - membership adds to the Adolescent Health Forum voting power and helps to push young people's health issues on to the RCN's agenda.
So how can you join the Adolescent Health Forum?
