Paediatric Advanced Nursing Group (PANG)

The first meeting of the Paediatric Advanced Nursing Group (PANG) took place in the autumn of 1998 at Alder Hey Hospital. The creation of a special interest group of advanced paediatric nurses (or anyone interest in advanced practice paediatrics) was an attempt to mobilise and co-ordinate the paediatric advanced and specialist practice expertise that was rapidly gaining momentum around the UK. Members include children's nurses, specialist nurses, nurse practitioners and educators from a wide variety of settings throughout the country.
