Current research activity in children’s nursing and child health nursing
The Nursing Research Unit, King’s College, London, is producing a series of reports from its research on the careers of a national cohort of child branch nurses. The first report covers: diversity of entrants' routes into the child branch; career guidance received during the course; career directions in children’s nursing as indicated by first job and future plans, and expectations in relation to preceptorship and continuing education. The research is funded by the Department of Health. If you require any further information or would like to purchase a copy of the full report (price £15 inc. p&p) please contact Rebecca Rogers on 020 7848 3204 or by email.
If you would like to add details of research in this area please email Christine English (christine.english@northumbria.ac.uk).
