Update: Association of Child Health Nurse Researchers (UK)

ACHNR(UK) is for child health nurses who are doctorally prepared or a considerable way along the process of gaining a PhD, and for independent researchers in the field with other evidence of similar ability or achievement.
The final workshop in a series of three aimed at children’s nurses undertaking doctoral studies was held on 14 November at RCN headquarters, focusing on ethical issues related to researching with children
Plenaries were followed by group discussions on topics ranging from key ethical principles, “inducements” and gaining ethical approval to undertake research when using “novel” research approaches – to the challenges of accessing children and maintaining anonymity in research outside NHS settings.
