There is a lot of information available on the internet but the quality and reliability of the content can vary hugely. Quality assurred websites are listed below:
- The NHS (England) National Electronic Library for Health, which has a child health specialist libary
- NMAP offers free access to a searchable catalogue of hand-selected and evaluated, quality internet resources in nursing, midwifery and the allied health professions. New resources are added to the database on a weekly basis.
Many of the organisations listed in the links section provide resources and other links, on topics such as rare disorders, government policies and children’s rights.
