UK Association for the History of Nursing - Launch Event

Professor Christine Hallett writes:

'Come and join us for the Launch of the UK Association for the History of Nursing, to be held on Friday 6th July 2012 at the University of Manchester. There will be a full day of presentations on topics including nursing in the Middle East in the Second World War, nursing and sectarianism in nineteenth century England, and using registers of nurses to inform current concerns. The day will conclude with my inaugural professorial lecture, 'Nursing: THe Lost Art?'.'
