Lesley Wade

We are sad to announce that Lesley Wade, who was a Lecturer in Nursing at the University of Manchester, died on Friday 15 March 2013 after a long illness. She combined her clinical interests with an enduring enthusiasm for nursing history, and she published widely in the field. Lesley was also a committed and tireless organiser of nursing history events, amongst other roles serving as Chair of the RCN History of Nursing Society.
