This discussion will explore the reality of nursing from a historical perspective, with a particular focus on public and media perceptions over the last 200 years.
Contributors will include Professor Christine Hallett, Professor of Nursing History, Dr Alison O'Donnell, Lecturer in Nursing, and Rosemary Cook, Director of The Queen's Nursing Institute. To be chaired by Martin Johnson, Professor of Nursing at the University of Salford.
There will be an opportunity for Q&As at the end of the session.
