Check out these websites!

www.airportsinformation.co.uk
This free website provides all the information you will ever need on UK airports. It includes booking flights direct, directions to and from the airport, facilities, contact details and airport parking.

www.rcn.org.uk/development/library/elibrary/recommended_free_online_sources
GPs have had free access to the eGuidelines website for some time, but until recently nurses had to pay. We have now set up free registration for RCN members via the e-Library and this should be of interest to practice nurses and other members working in the community. There is advertising on the site, but also useful summaries of current guidelines on specific conditions and news items.

www.airlinequality.com
This website hosts the world's largest choice of airline and airport reviews, including information on seat pitches as well as reviews of lounges.

www.traveldoctor.co.uk
Maintained by a pharmacist in South Wales, this site is aimed at travellers, but can also be useful for those intending to repatriate them. There is a section on in-flight problems as well as information on vaccinations and altitude sickness - plus links to other travel websites and UK travel clinics.

www.brit-thoracic.org.uk
The British Thoracic Society has published the first national guideline for emergency oxygen, advising that oxygen should be adjusted to achieve target saturations rather than given in fixed doses. Nurses will be able to make the adjustments without a change to prescription on each occasion.
