Hermes

www.scanhermes.co.uk provides details for over 50,000 medical facilities, assistance services, road and air ambulances in nearly 100 countries and is aimed at providing an invaluable resource for anybody involved in moving patients world wide.

For a very small annual subscription fee (£25) which covers the cost of ongoing development, users have unlimited access to accurate and up-to-date contact details for providers as well as a range of useful links for each country. These include websites for airports, airlines, bus and train timetables, maps, local information, central and regional government, dictionaries and online press.

Hermes also provides an 'Empty Leg' table, allowing air ambulance companies to show details of available ambulance flights anywhere in the world, as well as the facility to obtain a quotation for commercial airline repatriations from a Medical Ticketing specialist.

The site has been developed by Jon Phillips, who also chairs the British Medical Emergency Service Forum, and enquiries can be made to info@scanhermes.com
