Cardiff 2012: World Society of Disaster Nursing conference on 23 - 24 August

The University of Glamorgan, Wales, will be hosting the 2012 WSDN conference in Cardiff, the first time this conference is being held outside of the Asia-Pacific region. It is taking place on 23rd & 24th August 2012.

The aims of the 2012 World Society of Disaster Nursing conference are:

• To share current best practice in nursing care in disaster response and humanitarian assistance
• To engage the full spectrum of nursing across the disaster cycle, including disaster preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery
• To showcase developments in regional and local capacity building in disaster resilience and response through research reports and case presentations
• To enable practitioners to network with colleagues from across the globe who share a commitment to delivering the highest standards of care in the most challenging of environments.

Commonwealth Nurses’ Federation European Region conference: Advancing Nursing and Midwifery through Evidence Based Practice - Friday 15 - Saturday 16 March 2013

The call for abstracts is now open for the 10th European Conference of the Commonwealth Nurses’ Federation.  The conference will take place Palm Beach Hotel, Larnaca, Cyprus.
