Help select ten priority topics needing evidence in disasters or humanitarian crises

Improve access to research evidence for those working in disasters and humanitarian crisis settings by completing a survey on improving health-related outcomes.

Evidence Aid, a co-ordinated, international initiative, is organising this survey as part of its remit to improve access to systematic reviews on the effects of interventions and actions of relevance before, during and after natural disasters and other humanitarian emergencies.   The Cochrane Collaboration established Evidence Aid after the Indian Ocean tsunami of 26 December 2004, with input from several members of the Collaboration, Cochrane entities and other individuals and groups.

Once finalised, Evidence Aid and its partners will facilitate the production of evidence from the questions selected for each topic, which will then be freely available online.

Closing date to complete the survey is 1 May 2013.
