Girl Child Education Fund
The Florence Nightingale International Foundation (FNIF) at the International Council of Nurses is appealing to the international community to support its Girl Child Education Fund.
The fund, which was set up in 2005, supports the education of orphaned daughters of nurses in developing countries. Money raised goes towards school fees, uniforms, shoes and books for girls who would otherwise be unable to continue their primary and secondary schooling.
