Sick Note to Fit Note: Guidance for RCN representatives on the introduction of the Fit Note

The RCNs Employment Relations Department has produced a briefing for RCN representatives regarding changes to the sick certificate.

From 6th April 2010 the 'sick note' or 'sick certificate' forms used by GPs and other medical practitioners will become the 'Fit Note'. The change applies to England, Wales and Scotland.
