Practice Nurses Association (1164)
The Practice Nurses Association is the largest of the RCN forums with over 8,760 members. It is a very active and committed forum.
Purpose
- To provide an expert resource to Council and to the RCN membership.
- To develop policy relating to practice nursing.
- To provide an opportunity for practice members to meet.
- To provide a focus for members to participate in professional activities.
- To be a professional attraction to encourage nurses to join the RCN.
Aims
- Leading the development of policy relating to practice nursing.
- Representing the views of members of the group.
- Devising a programme to fulfil the purposes of the forum.
