Recently there seems to be a plethora of conferences and places for school nurses to be. I attended an excellent day from the Sex Education Forum who were launching their resource pack. This and a lot of other resources can be downloaded from the National Children's Bureau website at: www.ncb.org.uk/sef
I have just returned from Kuwait where I presented on trends in school nursing in the UK. I also ran a workshop to help the Kuwaitis set up their own school nursing service (non-existent at the moment). It was a very humbling and exciting experience for me.
