These one day seminars are for health care assistants employed in nursing homes in Northern Ireland.  Topics covered are nutrition, pressure ulcers and infection control.

Fundamentals of Care Seminars for Health Care Assistants - External venue

Location: Various venues in Northern Ireland
Date: 26 April 2013 to 21 November 2013

These one day seminars have been organised for health care assistants working in nursing homes.  These seminars have been funded by the Health and Social Care Board and Public Health Agency.

Continuing professional development learning event for health care assistants

Date: 03 July 2013 to 03 July 2013 & 05 November 2013 to 05 November 2013

This event will enable health care support workers to review their own practice; in particular, in relation to the importance of dignity and respect and how these principles enhance the patient experience, as well as enabling them to explain and understanding their own accountability and recognise their role in care provision.
