RCN Health Care Assistant and Assistant Practitioner Committee
The RCN HCA and AP Committee is working to address issues around recognising the support, interests and needs of HCAs and APs and is facilitated by the RCN HCA team.
The group will:
- provide opportunities for RCN HCA and AP members to meet to consider issues which are of importance to HCAs and APs
- promote activities that will assist HCAs and APs to keep abreast of change and to contribute to the promotion of high standards of nursing practice, including opportunities to attend conferences
- promote activities which will assist HCAs and APs to increase their political awareness of, and contribute to, developments in nursing
- encourage all HCAs and APs to become members of the RCN
- encourage all HCAs and APs to become members of their appropriate RCN forums.
