An evaluation of the use of Health Care Assistants at the Thistlemoor Practice, Peterborough
GPs at the Thistlemoor Practice in Peterborough have developed a radical model for the role of health care assistant in general practice. In May 2007 this role was evaluated by Sheffield University, funded by the NHS Working in Partnership Programme, which found it to be safe, effective and well liked by patients.
