Summary
Roche Diagnostics has recently launched cobas® academy, an innovative training module of the already established cobas IT 1000 application. The connected platform provides support for training ward staff on Point of Care testing in addition to streamlining management information to ensure quality assurance, accreditation and compliance.
In this environment of fast moving technology and medical advancement, this flexible e-learning and re-certification platform will help operators keep their knowledge up to date. The training can be accessed via the hospital intranet meaning that ward staff can stay close to the bedside and fit training around patient needs.
The concept has achieved the Silver Nursing Times Award for Productive Working.
