Confidential records
Some categories of record are confidential either because of reference to individuals, legal actions or currently sensitive policy information.
- Copies of the RCN Council minutes are held at the archives with supporting papers. A bound set is held in the library in London. Access is by application to the Archives.
- All committee papers are held only by the Archives and there is a closure period of 10 years.
- The RCN's annual report and accounts summary is available online and in print.
- Membership details will not be disclosed by the RCN under the Data Protection Act 2003.
- Access to personal papers donated to the RCN Archives is at the discretion of Archives staff.
