Photocopying

Some items are too fragile, tightly bound, large or sensitive to be photocopied. Where possible a photographic copy will be obtained instead. We also have to comply to current copyright legislation and to respect the wishes of donors who may have restricted the copying of their documents.

Requests for photocopying may be done by post, fax, telephone, email or in person. A Photocopy Request Form will be filled out and given to the enquirer with the documents. This is a notification of cost and we would expect payment in return. Cheques are accepted (no credit/debit cards) if made out to the 'Royal College of Nursing'. Researchers are responsible for observing UK copyright laws by using copied material only for non-commercial research / private study. Any information on the Archives webpages of this site may be downloaded or printer strictly for your own use. No further permissions are given without discussion.
