Professional development
If you are a member of the RCN you can benefit from a number of professional development opportunities.
Clinical leadership programme
The clinical leadership programme (CLP) is a 12-month licensed programme designed to enhance productivity, quality and safety. The programme includes one-to-one coaching, 360-degree feedback and applied learning in the workplace. The programme is lead by a local facilitator who is fully supported through the RCN facilitator development programme, which is 15 months and runs parallel to the clinical leadership programme.
The programme is aimed at health and social care practitioners who lead and manage teams (Agenda for Change bands 6-8). It is delivered in-house by the local facilitator, enabling the learning to be contextualised to the needs of the organisation. The facilitator programme is scheduled to start in November 2012 with a briefing day beforehand.
Find out more about the programme and how we can make a difference for your staff and your organisation by visiting our website, or contacting us on 020 7647 3951 or email consultancy.service@rcn.org.uk.
