Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW)
CSSIW encourages the improvement of social care, early years and social services by regulating, inspecting and reviewing and providing professional advice to Ministers and policy makers.

Healthcare Inspectorate Wales
The Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW) undertakes inspections of, and investigations into, the provision of health care by, and for, Welsh NHS bodies. The inspection programme relates to quality, national clinical standards, and patient safety and focuses on clinical governance, patient care across agencies and sectors and strengthening public involvement.

NHS Wales Informatics Service (NWIS)
This service brings together the strategic development of Information Communications Technology (ICT), the delivery of operational ICT services and information management. The organisation also has a national remit to support NHS Wales and make better use of scarce skills and resources.

National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence
The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is the independent organisation responsible for providing national guidance on the promotion of good health and the prevention and treatment of ill health in England and Wales. NICE develops guidance in three main areas - clinical practice guidelines, based on best practice, for the treatment and care of people with specific diseases and conditions; health technology guidance which involves appraisals of medicines and treatments and guidance on interventional procedures; and public health guidance for the promotion of health and prevention of ill-health.

National Leadership and Innovation Agency for Healthcare (NLIAH)
NLIAH is a national, strategic resource which supports NHS Wales at all levels to develop the capacity and capability to deliver the change agenda, helping to embed effective leadership, innovation, service improvement and workforce development across the NHS in Wales.

NHS Wales: Public Health Wales
Public Health Wales provides professionally independent public health advice and services to protect and improve the health and wellbeing of the population of Wales.

NHS Wales: Health in Wales
Health in Wales is the point of access for information about the activities of NHS Wales. It aims to provide the people of Wales with access to links to information from the NHS in Wales and its partner organisations, about the health of the population of Wales, and the health and social care services provided by NHS Wales.

Welsh Government: Health and social care
The Welsh Government is responsible day-to-day issues affecting the people of Wales, including the economy, health, education, and local government. Their website is organised by topics, including health and social care.
