Older people and people with dementia workshops

Transforming hospital care for older people and people with dementia: implementing RCN guidance and practical resources

These workshops were aimed at nurses working in hospitals and introduced RCN guidance, toolkits and learning resources on: the commitment to people with dementia in hospital and safe staffing for older people’s wards. The workshops took place across the UK in October, November and January 2013. View the flyer (PDF 843KB).

RCN Public Lecture 2012

The RCN held its first public lecture on 27 March 2012 at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London. It was on the topic of dementia - see the programme (PDF 43.6KB). A number of the presentations from the event are available for viewing.

Conference - Making sense: working in partnership to improve dementia care in general hospitals
