Discern is a brief questionnaire which provides users with a valid and reliable way of assessing the quality of written information on treatment choices for a health problem.

This booklet is based on the recommendations from the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) national clinical guideline on the management of diabetes and provides advice to families and carers.
