Wales
Information on external eHealth related educational courses and training opportunities across Wales is available from the eHealth Nurses Network Wales.
Learning@NHSWales is an online learning environment offering a wide collection of classes and tutorials across various skills.
The courses range from clinical aids, providing HR core skills, understanding waiting times and learning about stress awareness. It provides access to education and training at a time and place that suits the learner and which caters for their diverse learning styles and needs.

England
Essential IT Skills (EITS)
The Essential IT Skills (EITS) Programme delivers two qualifications, NHS ELITE (NHS eLearning IT Essentials) and NHS Health (NHS eLearning for Health Information Systems), both fully accredited by the British Computer Society. These qualifications replace the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) service.
NHS elearning for Health Information Systems provides staff with training they need to comply with rules on information governance, data protection and patient confidentiality.
NHS ELITE (eLearning IT Essentials) trains staff on basic keyboard and mouse skills as well as file management, web and email skills.
National Learning Management System
The National Learning Management System (National LMS) is centrally funded by the Department of Health. Any NHS member of staff that has an Electronic Staff Record (ESR) can gain access to a wide variety of e-learning courses, covering a range of subject matters, free of charge. The informatics tab covers a range of national products in use in NHS England such as Choose and Booke and the Summary Care Record.
