Action Mental Health
AMH Action Mental Health works to improve the health and well-being of people with mental health needs or learning disabilities across Northern Ireland, by creating opportunities for progression towards independence and employment.

All Wales Mental Health Promotion Network
The All Wales Mental Health Promotion Network was set up to provide leadership and focus for public mental health in Wales. The network works to promote the mental health of everyone in Wales. The network also produces a newsletter. View the newsletter.

British Psychological Society
The British Psychological Society is the representative body for psychology and psychologists in the UK.

Centre for Evidence Based Mental Health
The centre promotes the teaching and practice of evidence-based health care (EBHC) throughout the UK (with special emphasis on evidence-based mental health) and internationally.

Centre for Excellence in Interdisciplinary Mental Health
The overall aim of the centre is to promote excellence, innovation and creativity in the delivery of interdisciplinary mental health teaching and learning.

Colourmind
Colour Mind is the website of the Mental Health Race Equality Team for Central Lancashire. It contains details of work to promote mental health and deliver race equality to people from Black and Minority Ethnic Groups. Colourmind produces the award winning magazine Barbershop.

Knowledge Network - learning disabilities
This portal provides information, resources and education for health and social care staff supporting children and adults with Learning Disabilities in Scotland.

Mental Health Alliance
The Mental Health Alliance is a coalition of 75 organisations working together to secure a better mental health legislation.

Mental Health First Aid Wales
Mental Health First Aid is a Welsh Assembly Government funded mental health training programme which is applicable for all. It aims to provide individuals with the skills and confidence needed to deal with those experiencing mental distress.

Mental Health Foundation
The Mental Health Foundation is a leading UK charity that provides information, carries out research, campaigns and works to improve services for anyone affected by mental health problems, whatever their age and wherever they live. The Mental Health Forum was set up by the Mental Health Foundation, and aims to provide a high-quality community where members can get mutual support, and discuss mental health policy and service development issues. 

NHS Employers: Open Your Mind
The Open Your Mind campaign aims to identify good practice among NHS organisations and produce materials to help local efforts to improve the mental health of health service staff.

Mind is a leading mental health charity in England and Wales.

Mind's Ecominds programme
As part of the Big Lottery Fund's Changing Spaces programme, Mind is running an open grant scheme funding projects around England over the next five years. These projects will integrate mental health service users into the community through environmental projects that help improve physical and mental wellbeing.

Mindingyourhead.info
Mindingyourhead.info was designed and produced by the Health Promotion Agency for Northern Ireland (HPA) in support of the 2007 Minding your head mental health public information campaign. It seeked to increase awareness of mental health issues, provide information on organisations that can offer support, encourage those who may need help and reduce the stigma associated with poor mental health.

NIHR Mental Health Research Network
This network is part of and funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). The Network provides the NHS infrastructure to support commercial and non-commercial large scale research in mental health, including clinical trials.

National Mental Health Development Unit
The National Mental Health Development Unit (NMHDU) closed on the 31st March 2011, however all the publications and resources produced remain available on this site.

Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health (NIAMH)
The Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health, provides local support for those with mental health needs in locations across Northern Ireland. A wide range of services are offered including housing schemes, home support, advocacy services, information services, public education and research.

RCN Mental Health Forum
The RCN Mental Health Forum is for all nurses working in this field.

Rethink
Rethink is a national mental health membership charity which works to help everyone affected by severe mental illness recover a better quality of life.

Royal College of Psychiatrists
The Royal College of Psychiatrists is the professional and educational body for psychiatrists in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. It produces public information on common mental health problems and treatments and runs the Changing Minds campaign - aimed at reducing the stigma of mental illness.

Sane
The mental health charity Sane campaigns for improved rights for mental health service users and their carers. Its website includes discussion forums, information on the Sane research centre and Saneline, the national mental health helpline.

Scottish Association for Mental Health
A Scottish mental health charity which works to support people who experience mental health problems, homelessness, addictions and other forms of social exclusion.

Scottish Recovery Network
The Scottish Recovery Network aims to engage communities across Scotland on how best to promote and support recovery from long-term mental health problems. 

See me…
See me… was launched in 2002 and is Scotland's national campaign to end the stigma and discrimination of mental ill-health. The campaign is run by an alliance of five mental health organisations: Highland Users Group, National Schizophrenia Fellowship Scotland, Penumbra, Royal College of Psychiatrists Scottish Division, and SAMH.

Shift
Shift is an English initiative which aims to tackle stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health issues.

Social Perspectives Network for Mental Health
The Social Perspectives Network aims to share work and information looking at mental health from a social perspective; to support people to put social perspectives into practice; and influence the development of mental health policy from a social perspective.

Stand to reason
Stand to Reason is a service-user led organisation that works with and for people with mental ill health, whilst raising the profile, fighting prejudice, establishing rights and achieving equality.

Time to Change
Time to Change is England's programme to end discrimination faced by people who experience mental health problems. The programme of 35 projects is led by Mind and Rethink.

Wales: Primary Mental Health Care and Services
This network is open to all those involved in mental health services in primary care across Wales. It is designed to provide interest in mental health and a platform in which to share information and generate innovation within Wales through an interactive forum.

World Federation for Mental Health
The World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) is an international membership organisation which aims to advance, among all peoples and nations, the prevention of mental and emotional disorders, the proper treatment and care of those with such disorders, and the promotion of mental health.

World Health Organisation (WHO): Mental health
The WHO mental health website provides information and guidance on policy and service development, mental health, human rights and legislation and mental health and development.
