Nominations are now open to fill a number of places on forum steering committees. Applications are now open and close 10 May 2013.  More information can be found at www.rcn.org.uk/appointments

The following forums will be making appointments this year:

Advanced Nurse Practitioner Forum

There are two vacancies on the RCN Advanced Nurse Practitioner Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 27 June 2013.

Continence Care Forum

There are four vacancies on the RCN Continence Care Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 24 June 2013.

Nursing in Criminal Justice Services Forum

There is one vacancy on the RCN Nursing in Criminal Justice Services Forum Steering Committee.  The forum is looking to appoint a health care assistant or registered nurse, working in police custody or immigration services who is interested in the policy, research, practice and educational agendas of this specialism to this voluntary post. Interviews will be held on 10 July 2013.

Critical Care and In-Flight Nursing Forum

There are two vacancies on the RCN Critical Care and In-Flight Nursing Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from adult critical care and commercial flight nursing. Interviews will be held on 3 July 2013.

Defence Nursing Forum

There are five vacancies on the RCN Defence Nursing Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 26 June 2013.

Diabetes Nursing Forum

We have six vacancies on the RCN Diabetes Nursing Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice.  Interviews will be held on 8 June 2013.

District Nurses' Forum

There are four vacancies on the RCN District Nurses Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 2 July 2013.

Emergency Care Association

There are three vacancies on the RCN Emergency Care Association Steering Committee this year. The association welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice.  We particularly welcome applications from emergency nurses with skills (or desire to learn the skills) to help us improve technological communications with members, and from those who represent nurses from diverse specialty (e.g. Mental Health nursing or vulnerable adult nursing) or ethnic minority backgrounds. Interviews will be held on 8 July 2013.

ENT/Maxillo-Facial Nursing Forum

There are three vacancies on the RCN ENT/Maxillo-Facial Nursing Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 4 July 2013.

Fertility Nursing Forum

There is one vacancy on the RCN Fertility Nursing Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for this voluntary post from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 11 July 2013.

Forensic Nursing Forum

There are three vacancies on the RCN Forensic Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum would welcome applications from the following areas:

Gastrointestinal Nursing Forum

There are two vacancies on the RCN Gastrointestinal Nursing Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. We are specifically, but not exclusively, seeking applicants working in the following areas: Irritable Bowell Disease, Endoscopy and Stoma Care. Interviews will be held on 17 July 2013.

Imaging Nurses' Forum

There are five vacancies on the RCN Imaging Nurses Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. The Imaging Nurses Forum are particularly looking for members with experience in the areas of: Nuclear Medicine, Paediatric Imaging, Cardiac Labs and Adult Imaging. Interviews will be held on 24 June 2013.

eHealth Forum

There are  three vacancies on the RCN eHealth Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 9 July 2013.

Learning Disability Nursing Forum

There is one vacancy on the RCN Learning Disability Nursing Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for this voluntary post from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 11 July 2013.

Midwifery Nursing Forum

There are six vacancies on the RCN Midwifery Nursing Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. The interview date will be announced shortly.

Nephrology Nursing Forum

There are five vacancies on the RCN Nephrology Nursing Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. The interview date will be announced shortly.

Neuroscience Forum

There are three vacancies on the RCN Neuroscience Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 26 June 2013.

Ophthalmic Nursing Forum

There are two vacancies on the RCN Ophthalmic Nursing Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 10 July 2013.

Pain and Palliative Care Forum

There is one vacancy on the RCN Pain and Palliative Care Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for this voluntary post from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 27 June 2013.

Perioperative Forum

There are five vacancies on the RCN Perioperative Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. The interview date will be announced shortly.

Practice Nurses' Association

There are six vacancies on the RCN Practice Nurses Association Steering Committee this year. The association welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 11 July 2013.

Research Society

There are two vacancies on the RCN Research Society Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on 11 July 2013.

Rheumatology Nursing Forum

There are two vacancies on the RCN Rheumatology Nursing Forum Steering Committee this year. The forum welcomes applications for these voluntary posts from members across the UK to help us shape policy and develop practice. Interviews will be held on11 July 2013.

Society of Orthopaedic and Trauma Nursing

Women’s Health Forum
