Forums Governance group

The RCN Forums Governance Group (FGG) is the governance body responsible for leading forums. For details of key decisions around forum elections, forum membership and digital communications please see our latest news section.

Each forums bid throughout the year for resources to support professional activity against clearly set out criteria. Details of the system and copies of the bid form are available in the Forum toolkit section.

Fast track bids

FGG will only consider bids outside of the normal FGG meetings where:

  • a bid is in response to a contemporary and important change in policy or practice which was not expected or which has urgent deadlines outside of the forum's control
  • a bid relates to work which must be delivered very close to the next FGG meeting, and waiting for FGG approval would leave very little time for practically organising the piece of  work in question.
